It has already been open season on the river Lozoya. Specifically in the stretch run by the Fisheries Society's Lozoya High Valley , where the waters are fast and where you have more chance of catching the elusive brown trout.
The wildest stretch of the river is a little over a mile from the campsite you can walk from Mount Holiday.
To get a fishing license is needed (20 €) in the Bar José María. 91 869 45 05. Crta M-604, Km 3.3. In the village of El Cuadrón.
The season lasts from November until February when fishing inside the box and from March 15 to July 12 if fishing on the stretch of Angostura
