With the advent of heat and moisture from recent rains, just flower in the Valle del Lozoya a beautiful plant, endemic to the Iberian Peninsula: the peony. Typical of Pyrenean oak and holm oak in the Sierra, blooms spectacularly for a few days a year.
Its bright fuchsia pink petals contrast sharply with the yellow stamens, and are a nice surprise for hikers and amateur photographers.
The gold button, the bluebells and the daisies have emerged in recent days inspired by the good weather. It's time to go see them!
